Deep River Congregational Church

United Church of Christ

Ye Old English Christmas Faire

December 2nd, 3rd, 4th

Weekend of Festivities

at the
First Congregational Church of Deep River

~ Three glorious events at our Christmas Faire Weekend ~

It all starts Friday evening, when Dessert by Candlelight stirs up scrumptious homemade desserts. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, while you savor some holiday treats! Then "sneak a peek" at all that is in store for the following day as you wander about for a faire preview!  On Saturday, starting at 8:30 am, walk down our "village streets" and shop for handmade gifts and homemade goodies to include fresh bread that was baked while you slept. Live music will add to the spirit and be sure to have your picture taken with Santa! Stop by our Reindeer Restaurant to rev up with a continental breakfast or delicious luncheon entrees. On Sunday afternoon, we conclude with joyous holiday music in our Sanctuary.
A weekend enjoyed by all and surely not to be missed.

See more details below and be sure to join our festivities!

Finding Our Church

The Deep River Congregational Church is located at 1 Church Street, Deep River, Connecticut. The church is two blocks south of the Main Street stoplight in the center of town just across from the post office. We are just a few minutes from both Exit 4 and Exit 5 off Connecticut Route 9.

From the North:

Take Route 9 South to Exit 5.  At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn left toward the center of Deep River.  At the four way stop (Fire Station is on your right), turn right onto Union Street.  Proceed about 2 blocks and you will find the church and parking lot on your left.

From the South:

Take Route 9 North to Exit 4.  At the bottom of the exit ramp (stop light) turn left toward Deep River center.  Continue on Middlesex Turnpike (Main Street) through the next traffic light.  The church will be just ahead on your left.  You may park on Church Street or in the parking lot in the rear.

All our items are crafted by members of our Congregation.  Due to the nature of this faire, we don't accept outside vendors, but you may contact our church office about participating in our Mother's Day Craft Fair or our Flea Market.
